WindMill in Long Branch

This is a must for anyone that wants a good meal before hitting the beach! Reasonably priced too! The cheese fries 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Went last minute. It was a good hot dog one staff wasn't really confrontational and didnt make my friend and I feel comfortable but the other lady was really nice! I would go again maybe not at night like we did.

Absolutely terrible experience. Workers were incompetent and burgers were mediocre. It took us fifty minutes to receive our food. I reccomend avoiding it all costs.

My favorite hot dog specialty shop! I did not like hot dog at first. But it came to America and changed. Windmill Hot dogs are the most delicious. The feeling when I ate was neat and tasteless. So it is more delicious. And cheese fries are love :)

I guess the food tastes better when eaten there, sitting down and while food is fresh and hot. My family and I ordered through grub hub while we were at the beach and food was disgusting...everything was soggy and cold, wrapped in aluminum foil. Maybe, just maybe the experience would be different if you sat down and ate there 🤷🏻‍♀️

The best gourmet fast food anywhere. The charbroil burgers and their famous griddle franks can't be beat.

The bacon burger I had was okay... not amazing. My bacon was not cooked enough . I did like that the burger was medium well without having to ask for it. The hot dogs are the better choice here. Cheese fries were pretty good too.

Hot dogs were good. The cheese steak was awful! They didnt toast the bread, cheese was not melted...not the usual at all!

Fantastic hot dog Grilled on an open flame with sauerkraut In country mustard. Fries were crispy on the outside But lusciously soft on the inside.

Burgers taste very good like years ago I like coming to this place once in awhile but it's far from where I live so this was my first time in a while that I went there.

One of the few places I've visited that did proper twice-fried french fries. Come for the dogs and burgers, but definitely make sure you try the fries and breaded mushrooms, too!I didn't order the hot dogs (they're a beef/pork blend and I don't eat pork), but the burgers, fries, breaded mushrooms, and milkshakes were GREAT, and the guy and girl working behind the counter were super-friendly (and patient).All-around winner if you ask me. All-around winner even if you DON'T ask me ☺.

Visited on our way out from the beach. Things were tense bc of corona stipulations. Felt like staff were stressed and short in their responses to questions. I assume we just came at a rough moment. We all enjoyed the food, but please remember friendliness goes a long way!!

I've ate the Windmill for many years, foods great. Sometimes I've noticed that the service seemed a little slow but some people can work at there own pace.

Genius.. they added an outdoor shelf so you can stand and eat those delicious dogs! Great problem solving!!!

The men were all working hard but the young girl was very busy talking and not working. She needs to be reminded that she gets paid to work not socialize .

My mom showed me this small spot while taking a mini roadtrip to the shore. The wild west burger was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. Definitely will come back here again!

This is one of those places that makes you wonder why it's so expensive for the hot dog until you get it and realized it looks like the hot dog took steroids!I got the Reubin hotdog (several times) which comes with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. For this specific hot dog I recommend having a spoon so you do not, repeat do not leave any behind!The location itself is great as it's close to the beach, and you can go upstairs and eat at the picnic benches under normal circumstances. right now we're all taking them home or eating in our cars which makes for this slightly messy hotdog a careful experience...Also just my personal opinion, but throw these workers a tip when you buy here this summer, as with any restaurant, it's unbelievably hot inside, and the food's worth it!
